The Forming and Sizing Section is the heart of the tube mill. SRET uses advanced roll design software to create precision tooling that shapes the strip gradually and accurately. **Forming:** The breakdown passes and fin passes gradually shape the flat strip into an open tube profile, preparing edges for welding. **Sizing:** After welding, the sizing (or calibration) stands ensure the tube meets precise dimensional tolerances for diameter and roundness. Turks heads can be used to re-shape round tubes into square or rectangular profiles.
